DeWayne from Parks Plumbing came out today for a service call, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. …
This week I had my electrical, plumbing and Heat/AC Maintenance done. Jay, Jourdon and Joshua were all 3 amazing to work with. They were punctual, professional and explained things in ways that made sense. I did end up doing some work and am so glad I did. I will highly recommend to my friends to use Parks for all their needs. So convenient to have all with the same company.
Anthony was fantastic to work with. He was polite and did a great job of explaining what he was doing, why he was doing it, and the outcomes.
Service has been excellent! We’ve been a customer for over 9 years and their bi-annual inspections have been timely and informative completed by a team of personable professionals. A huge shout out to Will who performed our last service!
This was my first time using Parks heating and cooling, and I was extremely pleased with the level of service and technical expertise. They initially came to my home to conduct a maintenance inspection on two units and while there noted a few items that needed to be improved. The biggest and most important find was that they noted that the HVAC ductwork was in bad shape with numerous areas replete with large amounts of mold that was pushing bacteria through the system into the house. They provided us with video evidence of the problem, and then offered a reasonably priced solution which require required removal of all of the existing ductwork and replacement it with newer technology The technician that identified the problem initially was very thorough and knowledgeable. He made suggestions, but was not trying to upsell any replacement project. We opted for replacement in within the next day two Installers arrived at the house and began the process of removing and replacing all of the second floor ductwork. Tanner and Anelle Arrived at the house with all of the materials and immediately began the project. It took nearly 2 days to complete the removal and installation and they were professional, respectful, and very hard-working. Each day before leaving, they made sure all their equipment and debris was removed from inside the house and they cleaned up all of the area areas that they were working in. It was a exceptional experience from beginning to end and I would highly recommend parks for any of your HVAC needs. As a result of this experience, I plan to engage them as the maintenance service provider for my systems moving forward.
Very professional and on time with great service to customers professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone.

Kannapolis continues to grow while holding onto the strong sense of community that makes it such a welcoming place to live. With its revitalized downtown, local attractions, and family-focused neighborhoods, the area blends progress with a hometown feel.
We are proud to serve the homeowners who make Kannapolis unique. Our team understands the needs of local households and takes pride in keeping homes powered, protected, and comfortable. When electrical problems interrupt your routine, we are ready to step in with fast, dependable solutions.
Electrical concerns often begin subtly but can point to larger underlying issues. You may notice lights flickering, breakers tripping more often, or outlets becoming warm. These are warning signs that should not be ignored.
Our electricians in Kannapolis carefully assess the situation, identify the root cause, and deliver repairs built to last. Whether the issue involves outdated wiring, overloaded circuits, or worn components, we focus on restoring safe and reliable operation.
Lighting plays a big role in how your home looks and feels. It enhances comfort in living spaces, improves visibility in kitchens, and adds safety outdoors. If you are upgrading fixtures or dealing with unreliable lighting, we are here to help.
We install a variety of lighting solutions, including recessed lighting, decorative fixtures, and outdoor security lighting. If your lights flicker, dim, or stop working altogether, we provide straightforward troubleshooting and repairs. Many Kannapolis homeowners also choose LED upgrades to improve efficiency and brightness.
Power surges can occur during storms or even due to everyday fluctuations in the electrical grid. Over time, these surges can damage appliances, electronics, and smart devices.
Whole-home surge protection helps block excess voltage before it reaches your outlets. As homes rely more on technology, this added protection helps safeguard your investment and extend the life of your devices.
Your electrical panel manages how power is distributed throughout your home. If it is outdated or overloaded, you may experience frequent breaker trips or inconsistent power.
With the addition of modern appliances, electric vehicles, and updated HVAC systems, older panels often struggle to keep up. Upgrading your panel improves safety, increases capacity, and ensures your home can handle today’s electrical demands. Our team will evaluate your system and recommend a solution that supports long-term reliability.
Power outages can disrupt your home without warning. A standby generator provides peace of mind by keeping essential systems running when the power goes out. Your refrigerator stays on, your lights remain steady, and your heating or cooling continues to operate.
We install generators designed to match your home’s energy needs. Our team handles placement, connections, and testing to ensure dependable performance. With a generator in place, your home remains functional during unexpected outages.
As more drivers in Kannapolis make the switch to electric vehicles, home charging becomes an important convenience. A Level 2 charger enables faster, more efficient charging than a standard outlet.
Our electricians assess your system, install the appropriate circuit, and safely mount the charger. Once installed, you can charge your vehicle at home with confidence and consistency.
Older homes or outdated wiring systems may not support today’s electrical demands. Signs like discolored outlets, frequent breaker trips, or inconsistent performance can indicate the need for an upgrade.
We provide both partial and full rewiring services to improve safety and reliability. Our team works carefully to minimize disruption while updating your system for better performance and peace of mind.
Routine maintenance helps catch small issues before they turn into larger problems. Keeping your electrical system in good condition can extend its lifespan and improve overall safety.
During maintenance visits, we inspect panels, test outlets and switches, verify GFCI protection, and look for signs of wear. These proactive steps help Kannapolis homeowners maintain reliable electrical performance throughout the year.

Flickering lights, frequent breaker trips, buzzing sounds, or warm outlets often indicate issues that need professional attention.
An annual inspection is recommended, especially for homes with older wiring or increased electrical demand.
Yes, it helps protect appliances and electronics from voltage spikes that can cause costly damage.
