Seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure the safety of each delivery from the time it is loaded until delivered. To be a parts runner, we are looking for someone who can drive the company provided truck to deliver parts to technicians on the job and pick up parts from warehouses. Help technicians once on the job site (this could be unloading equipment/parts) House keeping around the warehouse as needed.
Job Expectations:
- Full time work schedule
- Operate a delivery vehicle to and from customer site.
- Load and unload HVAC units and equipment with co-worker or mechanical assistance.
- Move HVAC units from truck to installation site with helper.
- Ensure shipment is accurate and complete.
- Responsible for securing equipment for safe transport.
- Observe all regulatory agency and company safety directives
- Observe all traffic laws
- Exercise careful judgement when driving and parking on customer properties.
- Local deliveries only
- Deliver parts and or equipment to job sites as needed
Job Qualifications:
- 2 years of delivery experience
- A current valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.
- Must be able to lift 60lbs
- Able to tolerate exposure to outdoor conditions
- Required by law to pass pre-employment and routine drug screens
- Required by law to pass a criminal background check
